Joining GKCOA is easy.  Anyone with an interest in high school sports and willingness to learn can become a sports official.  We'll teach you the basics and get you started.  Where you take it from there is up to you.  Find out if you have what it takes to become a high school sports official.  You'll get as much out of the experience as you put into it. 

The GKCOA primary purpose is to educate, train and support high school sports officials in Baseball, Basketball, Football, Softball and Volleyball.  We do facilitate assignments in three sports (Basketball, Football and Volleyball); however, this is only in support of our primary purpose and game assignments are not a guaranty.  We do not currently assign umpires for Baseball or Softball.

The GKCOA welcomes new applicants for membership.  We encourage both men and women to apply.  No experience is necessary!
